As a parent of young children living in Edmonton Riverbend, Susan understands the challenges facing our community and is ready to tackle them.
Susan is a long-time advocate for workers' rights, and has a strong track record of working to improve people's lives. She’s the Assistant Professor in Human Resources and Labour Relations at Athabasca University, and has worked with both the Parkland Institute the Alberta Federation of Labour.
She brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication, tirelessly advocating for initiatives like universal child care to support families. She has been a driving force calling for publicly funded child care for everyone. She received the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee medal recognizing her tenacious advocacy.
